Description

In times of unrest, I would screw on my macro lens and seek my respite in nature, in the woods. The only place where nothing else matters. The feeling of being disconnected from the world and all its problems is relieving and rejuvenating. I found an immediate bond between my work and quotes: “The only thing that makes life possible is permanent, intolerable uncertainty: not knowing what comes next” & “All that you touch You Change. All that you Change Changes you. The only lasting truth Is Change.” as they are sole description of my entire work and energy that motivates me in art. Seeking uncommon in common things, exploring the unexplored, while impatient of what will be my next discovery.

I express entities as animalistic shapes or pure energy full of life, motion and meaning. I provide a recognizable style in which I capture non-living objects and phenomenons to offer them life, show their motion, accentuate their energy and give them meaning. In my abstract work, I capture tree bark or melting ice that changes its structure every second and is about to disappear. I freeze it for one last time, but this time, permanently, into my DSLR and to the photo paper. Interestingly, every individual viewer sees something else in this eccentric abstraction, whether it be an animalistic shape or pure energy that sparks their eyes.
